It all started almost as a joke. Half of my life has been spent in travelling and moving countries. But I really love my country, Italy – despite its peculiarities – so I was thinking of an activity that could keep me in touch with my routes, but still allowing me to travel. The occasion arrived after my employer fired me (my position was cancelled, unfortunately a very common situation those days), so I found that I got quite some time to spend on something I like.
I went to classes to understand and learn; and the more I get into EVOO world, the more I need (and want) to know.

– Delegate for The Netherlands at International Olive Oil Expert
